If your condition is too severe to wait for a return call, go directly to the Emergency Room at the nearest hospital or call 911. Advise the emergency room personnel that you are a patient of Dr. Stanley Stein, the gastroenterologist, and ask that they contact me as soon as you have been stabilized and / or evaluated.
